Jesus is our spiritual brother because He took on human form.

A way of saying "he’s one of us"

So when someone says "Jesus is a brother", they might also be affirming that Jesus looked like us (Black in appearance) He identifies with the oppressed, the poor, and the outcast. He would walk with us — not as a distant savior, but as a real one of our own.
