Would you interpret your skills as a gift from God or a learned talent? I would definitely describe my talent as a gift from God. I come from a family of singers and grew up singing in the church. I wouldn't be here with you all at God is Dope without my gift from God!
How were you introduced into your love of music? I was introduced to music through my family. I remember singing at my dad's church or caroling at Macy's at Greenbriar Mall for the holidays. It was always something that brought us together. Looking back on those moments remind me that I was being prepared to be where I am now. Singing and sharing my love of music with you. It's a lot of artists that I would love to collaborate with but we'll start off with Monica, PJ Morton, and Nija Charles.

What project(s) are you currently working on? Recently I’ve dropped a single “Align”, along with my first music video! I’ve also been doing some live performances for Overdozstudios, Velvet Residence, & yours truly, God Is Dope Live. Due to Covid I haven’t been doing too many live, in person performances but i’ve been using this time to focus on my music. I’m currently working on two projects, one set to drop before 2021 ends & the other soon after. I’m super excited to share these upcoming projects, I feel like they embody my growth vocally & me personally in my own life.
Check out their enthralling performance covering "Prototype" by Outkast and their otherworldly original debut single "tqm."
Ale: Jefferson, GA but was intimately raised alongside my family in Guadalajara, Mexico
Sebastian: Bogota, Colombia and raised in Jefferson, GA
Ale: Absolutely a gift from God. My voice has been the one thing I have remained confident in and has served as the single connection to my soul and the spiritual realm. I am a deeply emotional person, and have always felt that making music as a form of self-expression and escape from the world around me was a divine gift from God. It allows me to say the things my physical body and mind could never truly say.
Sebastian: My musical skills are a learned talent put in motion by a deep seated curiosity to understand the music that I emotionally connect with, and as a consequence, an odyssey into my emotional self. However, what is a god given gift (and sometimes a pain in the ass lol) is my never ceasing itch to create and to forever seek meaning in the world through art.
Ale: Although I was brought up on two cultures and their values, one of the things that bridged the two was the deep love of music. Music surrounded me throughout my life, and always served as a translator between my two heritages, and between myself and the world around me. In that sense, music has also served as an escape, and has been a medium where I can articulate the depth of my emotions, thoughts, and connection to my spirituality. I have fallen in love with the R&B movement in Latin America currently, and would love to collaborate with artists and producers in this space, and bring their presence to the United States. Latin R&B artists such as Nathy Peluso, Chita, and Girl Ultra would be an absolute dream to make music with. My deep love and adoration for Mexico will always remain at the forefront of our music, and would be honored to work with Mexican producers, specifically producers in the group, AQUIHAYAQUIHAY. In the same vein, I am enamored with Atlanta, and it is a place I have a deep soul connection to. I am constantly blown away by the blossoming music scene in this city, and am eager to collaborate with as many Atlanta artists and producers as possible.
Sebastian: Latin upbringing has meant having music be at the center of family life. No family or friend reunion could be without salsa, merengue, cumbia, boleros, tangos, mariachi permeating the air. Over the years, music has also become my means of exploring the many gradients of cultural expression around the globe. My ears have traveled where I haven’t. (Peep my spotify playlist “Sol Global”) Producers and artists I’d love to work with are: AQUIHAYAQUIHAY, Girl Ultra, Puma Blue, River Tiber, Julien Chang, Neon Indian, Ojerime, Jimmy Nevis, Zamajobe, Paradis, El Caribefunk, Gabriel Garzón-Montano, Combo Chimbita, Desta French, Teó.
Mainly a sense of comfort and tranquility, challenged by deep nostalgia and melancholy that comes with moving through our lives and discovering ourselves. We hope for our music to represent a kaleidoscope of emotions that depict the human experience and duality of self. Our music evokes the nuance and complexity of having to define our own identity between two worlds that we never seemed to completely fit in. We also hope to evoke a sense of cultural liberation as we honor our roots, and celebrate the diversity of global culture we have explored and cherish.
Our creative process revolves around our emotions and the people or circumstances that bring about them. We like to create an environment where we solely meditate and deeply connect with our mind and souls. From there, the process continues with listening to music that captures how we are feeling, and the stream of consciousness in that moment on paper. That flow turns into lyrics and guides the instrumental production, and we cycle between the two entities until we've crafted a piece that captures what was within.
We just finished a show at Center Stage on September 28th, where we debuted some of the upcoming singles that will be rolled out later this year and early next year. We are also in the process of completing our debut EP, which will be released early 2022!

Josh: Definitely a gift from God that I’ve had to constantly work on and perfect.
Check out the 27 year-old, Pop & Funk singer’s performance of “Baby It’s You” by JoJo & her original song titled “Circles”, accompanied by guitarist Sharod Virtuoso.
Symone: I was introduced to music at a young age in the church. My father was a music minister/pastor while I was growing up, so I was always around it. Once I started performing in church more frequently, I began performing at school talent shows, funerals/weddings, which led to big events around Houston. Growing up in a house that was constantly filled with different genres of music, I developed an appreciation for what all artists create, but my roots pulled me to the strong funk sounds of Parliament-Funkadelic, Prince, and Chaka Khan. In the future, I would love to work with Pharrell, Childish Gambino, and Doja Cat.
Bria: I'd say my talent is both a gift from God and a learned talent. According to my mom, I've been singing since before I could talk. You weren't entirely sure what I was saying but you knew the song from the melody. Music has always been in my heart. However, I also consider it to be a learned talent because I've been training my whole life. I went to a performing arts school from elementary to high school. When I wasn't training at school, I trained with StarHouse Entertainers, a talent development company.
Bria: I think my music is a mixture of R&B, Soul, and Pop.
Bria: When I was 7, I would take my mom's CDs. Listening to artists like Destiny's Child, Whitney Houston, Brandy, Mariah Carey, and Beyonce is where I fell in love with RnB. I'd sit in my room with my radio on maximum volume and study the pictures and lyrics inside the cover. That's where it solidified for me that I wanted to be a successful entertainer. If I could work with anyone it would be Beyonce, Bruno Mars, and Teyana Taylor. I honestly think we would make some great music. Beyond the music, the knowledge and insight I could get from them would be even better!

The definition of canceling can be succinctly described as the black balling of a public figure by society due to perceived transgressions. The phrases use and popularity has even had it find its way into the dictionary. According to Merriam Webster cancel culture is defined as "the practice or tendency of engaging in mass canceling as a way of expressing disapproval and exerting social pressure".
Public figures such as R Kelly, Chris Brown, Carl Lentz, Da Baby and countless others have all faced backlash and ultimately ended up on the receiving end of cancellation. Some these individuals warranted the wrath of the masses due to the perceived severity of their actions. The most recent example can be seen in the reaction to Da Baby's inflammatory statements at Rolling Loud. The artists remarks, which were both homophobic and offensive to those surviving with HIV/AIDS, didn't bode well for him or his career. Various performance venues turned their back to the artists and removed him from concert line ups in order to solidify their stance with the public. Many other celebrities also shared their commentary all over social media and a few even had the rapper's credit on their songs removed such as singer Dua Lipa.
Many hoped to defend the artist such as rapper Boosie however seemingly only inflamed the situation further. Instead of pointing out what possible wrong he had committed Boosie simply agreed whilst throwing in his own bias sentiments. Only singer and child star Miley Cyrus spoke to the idea of extending grace and educating the rapper on his misgivings and why although he is welcome to his opinion it may have been recieved as hate speech.
Cyrus took to her instagram profile to post screenshot of her thoughts on Dababy's situation with the caption;
"@DaBaby check your DMS - would love to talk and see how we can learn from each other and help be part of making a more just and understanding future!
For more info @greaterthanaids is a great resource! 🌈💕 @happyhippiefdn"
In her screen grabbed post Cyrus mentions she's a proud and loyal member of the LGBTQIA+ community. She goes on to mention how the internet "can fuel a lot of hate & anger and is the nucleus of cancel culture... but I believe it can also be a place filled with education, conversation, communication, & connection." Cyrus goes on to say, "It's easier to cancel someone than to find forgiveness and compassion in ourselves or take the time to change hearts and minds. There's no more room for division if we want to keep seeing progress! Knowledge is power! I know I still have so much to learn.
A few Twitter users took to the platform to share their own takes and some similar sentiments on cancel culture and the idea of extending grace instead of judgement.
Cancel culture says you make one misstep and you have nothing more to offer.

Weren’t y’all saying someone needs to educate Da Baby??? Miley Cyrus comes along in hopes to educate him and spread LOVE AND POSITIVITY and NOW y’all wanna complain?
— thomas (@DuhTommyy) August 4, 2021
In some cases a certain level of grace can be extended to those who have behaved in an uncouth or problematic manner. As we all know no one is above mistake or reproach. We are all equal in the eyes of the powers that be. However, this is not to excuse them. Individuals must be receptive to understanding the ways their words or behaviors may offend or hurt others. No one is asking for a change of mind, but perhaps a change heart. Common decency calls for respect of an individual regardless of race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity and more. The phrase is love thy neighbor in doing so that entails being kind even to those that may hold a difference of opinion.
What are your thoughts on the matter? Should the reception of Da Baby's comments have been so intense and should grace and forgiveness be extended to him so quickly? Comment down below!

As disaster after disaster occur at such an alarming rate many wonder if the "end of days" has arrived and if these disasters are a sign of something more, possibly the rapture. One can only hope the damages that have been dealt to the earth and its ecosystems is reversible, but many fear we may be too late. We must ask ourselves at what point will the pacifistic mindset many carry within society change to one of acknowledgement and preparation? And when will these natural disasters start to become "unnatural", at least to the point of warranting actual concern from the public?

The club's doors were forced closed after various issues arose from unpaid wages owed to workers to problems with maintaining a proper liquor license. Seemingly, the final stake in the coffin was the looming and current Covid-19 pandemic. The strip club was then permanently closed that is until it was sold to real estate developer, Linda Dunegan.
In the early 1980s, Dunegan's parents divorced and friends of her mothers encouraged her to move and find work in Anchorage possibly as a bartender or waitress. However, Dunegan's mother quickly found that there was more to be made in the strip clubs. In order to provide for her daughter Dunegan's mother began working the late shift.
This seemingly left Linda to her own devices. Disheveled and unkempt, Dunegan was approached by a woman of one of the churches they attended for the free post church meals they offered. “I was dirty, unsightly, and she took me to Sears. She bought me three dresses,” Dunegan said. That one woman's kindness was the catalyst that pushed Linda into the faith.
"My mother was a stripper," Dunegan told Alaska's News Source. "And all that she had to do to feed a little girl, that's very bothersome to me."Dunegan says she's unclear whether her mother ever worked at Fantasies.
"So that inspired me to take something that was used for darkness to turn into light, to serve the community and Open Door Baptist Church is that light in the community," she added.
Dunegan initially tried to purchase the building from the previous owner with her husband Gerry but was unable to do so because they were not able to come to an agreement with the previous owner. Sure enough the owner finally came to terms with the fact that Fantasies doors would not be reopening again and sold the property to Dunegan. The real estate developer adds that she believes her prayers were answered when it came to her acquisition of the property. “This church came about because I prayed for five years,” she said.
According to ABC News reports, Seventy-six people showed up for the grand opening, some to see what a church inside a former strip club looks like. And now the church averages about 45 parishioners every Sunday.
Check out this tweet of photos taken during the reconstruction phase of Open Door Baptist Church taken by Justin Lehman, who assisted in the reconstruction. Also below are photos of the new church parish.

We love a story of reformation and rebirth. This story is one that started secular and somewhat peculiar in nature but has a pretty wonderful ending if I do say so myself. Dunegan's story goes to show you that your full circle moment within the faith may be right around the corner. The question is are you a believer that God can be found anywhere? This story definitely serves to show that the may just stand true. Comment your thoughts down below.

The couple, who've been married since 2016, aren't new to the idea that many fans and onlookers in the public fancy their relationship. People have even gone as far as to ask Ciara for the prayer she prayed in order to "secure" a husband like Russell. The couple is always upfront when it comes to questions on how they maintain a successful and fruitful marriage and partnership. They admit their faith is a large part of their relationship and how they sustain it. So it comes as no surprise that the couple prays together. However, an image of them doing just that recently surfaced and had many excitedly commenting on their relationship.
Many find the idea of couple goals or life goals in general as unrealistic in nature as no two relationships or lives will be the same. This notion is indeed correct, however it's also true that there is such a thing as positive and negative representation within the media. And more often than not the negative representations are hailed and popularized; whether that be women being rewarded with Birkin bags for sticking around through their partners unfaithful behavior. It's very nice to see practices such as worshiping alongside your partner being publicly appreciated. Check out what some Twitter users had to say regarding these viral images.
Y’all want Ciara’s prayer but you don’t wanna go to church to worship! Lol pic.twitter.com/FjmeJBqRhG

Seeing Russell Wilson and Ciara’s picture in church today really reminds me how much better relationships/marriages go when God is the center. I can’t wait to move to that place in my life 🥺

This photo of Ciara and Russell reminds me that when you completely surrender to God, you won’t have to worry about a thing.

As much as I love that picture of Ciara and Russell praying at church I also feel bad that they cannot worship without being photographed .
— Mrs Basset 👑🤞🏿 (@Sincereshy) August 3, 2021
Many found the image endearing and encouraging, however some found taking photos of the couple in such an intimate setting was encroaching on their privacy. Others also found fault in the fact that many wishing for the same type of relationship may rarely pray or have not "put in the work" when it comes to their own personal walk with God.
We would love to hear your thoughts down below! Comment if you think Ciara and Russell are your couple goals or if you think one ought have and make their own couple goals.

She surpassed the previous record holder, Carl Lewis, the sprinter and long jumper who won 10 between 1984 and 1996. And according to Felix she could not have done so without God. Felix states, "I feel so blessed that God has given me the talent of running. My running is an amazing gift from God and I want to use it to the best of my ability to glorify Him."
Felix has never been one to shy away from sharing her belief in God and the faith. "I grew up in a very strong Christian home," she tells Athletes in Action. "Our family was very involved in our church. I am so blessed to have my family and the upbringing that I did. It means so much to me to have two very godly parents who both have so much wisdom. They are amazing role models that I have had the privilege to watch as I grew up."
She shares that she learned of Jesus at a young age and applied the teachings of God to her life since then. "I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at a very young age. Ever since then, I have continually been striving to grow in my relationship with God," she said. "I was nowhere close to the perfect child. I had my share of difficult times along with some disappointing choices that I made, but thankfully God never stops loving me."
Now the 35-year-old young mother, who gave birth to her daughter back in 2018, has just successfully set a new record and competed in her fifth Olympic games; she says this will be her last Olympics.
Check out the way in which the public celebrated Felix's amazing accomplishments down below.

The Olympian has used her voice for good on numerous occasion including the Nike incident in which she claimed the company penalized her and other pregnant athletes during contract negotiations. According to Bezos he funds Blue Origin by selling $1 billion of Amazon stock annually. After his safe return back to Earth Bezos stated, “thank you to every Amazon employee, and every Amazon customer. Because you guys paid for all this.” His statement wasn't received as well as he had anticipated.
According Amazon Bezos has long faced accusations from former employees and watchdogs, that its warehouse workers and other employees are severely underpaid and overworked. The company had also been fighting, however unsuccessfully, against the unionization of the workforce at a warehouse in Alabama earlier this year. With a net worth of roughly $117 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, it's safe to say Bezos and his lineage will not have monetary concerns any time soon. With that in mind many pocket watch the billionaire and his spending and believe his resources could be put to better use like compensating the very people he thanked for his space travel.Former World Vision head Richard Stearns in a series of tweets. “It is estimated that Bezos spent $5.5 billion to achieve his space flight. That same amount of money could have brought clean water to 110 million people who currently have no access. It could also have given a $4000 raise to every one of Amazon’s 1.3mm employees.”
Most of the public's issue with Bezos and his space exploration is with the cost. People took to Twitter to point out that the money used for this space track could have been allocated elsewhere. Check out a few tweets below from Twitter users and their hot takes.
The fact Elon Musk, Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos could come together and easily end world hunger but instead decide to waste money on flying to space is absolutely despicable. Money truly is the root of all evil, there are no kind or caring billionaires. pic.twitter.com/RK5wiA0eKS

I didn’t realize Jeff Bezos space trip was just going to be a drive-by. He probably didn’t even have enough time to eat freeze dried astronaut ice cream or gold plated dinosaur eggs or whatever billionaires eat. What a waste.
— BRIZ 💀🦥 (@brizmullen) July 20, 2021
Jeff Bezos spent $5.5 billion to go to space. The U.S. population is 327 million. He could have given each American $1 billion and still have money left over. I feel like a $1 billion check would be life-changing for most people. Yet he wasted it to go to space.
— Kyle Mann (@The_Kyle_Mann) July 23, 2021
Under my plan, Jeff Bezos would pay a $5.4 billion #WealthTax of his estimated net worth of $181 billion. He could still pay for his space missions and super-yachts, if that’s where he gets his kicks. But as a nation, we could invest in our people—including universal child care.

Jeff Bezos started as a small Entrepreneur in a garage. Took risk by quitting his job also risked his parents money in starting Amazon. He has created millions of jobs & business indirectly which all contribute to tax worldwide. Now you want to punish him for all that??

Mark Shelhamer, former chief scientist of NASA’s Human Research Program, states in a conversation with Christians Today podcaster Morgan Lee, “You could probably look at the way I spend money, right? This is a dangerous road to go down. I'm not about to cast the first stone in this argument and say the rich people should be spending their money differently. If you knew how I spent some of my discretionary income on my hobbies, I'm not going to call them vices, I'm going to call them hobbies.”
He continues, “But anybody could come in and say, you spent X amount of money on this thing, a concert ticket, or a new piece of electronics, which is in my home workshop. You could have given that to X and used that to buy another meal for the underprivileged or whatever.” He goes on to say no one would know if he’s already given or work over time an “I have discretionary funds to reward myself for that extra work.”
Bezos explained he’s reasoning in placing value in space exploration CNN, He said, "Well, I say they're largely right. We have to do both. You know, we have lots of problems here and now on Earth and we need to work on those, and we always need to look to the future. We've always done that as a species, as a civilization. We have to do both." He said this mission is about "building a road to space for the next generations to do amazing things there, and those amazing things will solve problems here on Earth."
We are interested on your take of Bezos's space exploration. Do you believe his push for space travel is pertinent in the face of looming catastrophic events and circumstances, such as world hunger and environmental crisis, here on earth? Comment down below!

]]>Unable to complete the full rotation, after getting lost midair, Biles thankfully and safely stuck her landing. Gymnast have a name for the phenomenon of getting lost whilst flipping called "Twisties", a word for a mental block in which gymnasts lose their spatial awareness in the middle of complex skills. It is a well-known, terrifying and dangerous sensation for gymnasts according to sources at the Guardian.
Biles withdrew from the competition shortly after. Biles’ gymnastics coach told NBC that "Physically she is fine. But she is done for the night." She swiftly told her teammates that they would be fine and that "they'd trained their whole lives for this moment."
Various critics took to social media condemning the Olympian for seemingly "forsaking" America for "childish reasons". Many attacked her professionalism and diminished her reasoning from stepping out of the competition.
One in particular was Texas Deputy Attorney General, Aaron Reitz on Tuesday tweeted a video of the gymnast Kerri Strug, who competed with an injured ankle to help Team USA win gold in 1996, writing, "Contrast this with our selfish, childish national embarrassment, Simone Biles." His damning and rather negative rhetoric was vehemently met with disdain and judgment. Immediately all of Twitter took to Biles's defense and demanded an apology from Reitz for his flagrant and insensitive commentary. His post was quickly deleted and he issued an apology. Check out Reitz's apology as well as what those in agreement with him, such as Piers Morgan, had to say.

So, to sum up today’s big Simone Biles debate, snowflake Twitter is 100% adamant that walking out on teammates at work is brave, strong, inspiring and iconic - and anyone who does it should be celebrated as one of the world’s great heroes….

As a former gymnast myself, this is the best take on this. I don't think non-gymnasts appreciate just how difficult and dangerous these tricks are. It is so easy to make catastrophic (and potentially deadly) mistakes if you are in your own head. It happens to us all at some point
— GoatGhost (@eastofwest) July 28, 2021
Wow that really puts it in perspective. I had no idea it was that dangerous (the changing vault).
— Who dat bitch over there (@Whodatbitchove1) July 27, 2021
If she had a physical injury no one would say anything. But she basically has a mental injury & she should be aloud to treat it just as you would a physical one.
Can we add to that statement that Simone Biles doesn’t owe a damn thing to anyone else? #ISupportSimoneBiles
— Kimberly (@kwalker1897) July 28, 2021
What some here are ignoring is that she quit FOR her team. She wasn't willing to risk their chance at a medal when she knew there was a very high risk she couldn't hold up her end. Instead of deciding she was too important to step back, she respected her world-class teammates.
— Debbie Seltzer (@PragmatistProf) July 28, 2021
I stand with Simone Biles...a black woman having the agency to no longer participate in a system that jeopardizes her mental and/or physical health is a revolutionary act!! #SimoneBiles #notallheroswearcapes
— Winston Duke (@Winston_Duke) July 28, 2021
Simone Biles has been fighting USA Gymnastics & the US Olympic Committee for years now, trying to get some shred of accountability for her own abuse & the abuse of 100's of other little girls at the hands of Larry Nassar--and y'all have the nerve to say SHE let her COUNTRY down?
— Jacob Denhollander (@JJ_Denhollander) July 28, 2021
The "black women are strong" trope often leads to placing black women in various predicaments in which they are forced to perform regardless of their mental or physical state. We can see this in the backlash Biles receives after stepping away from the games. Expecting black women to run themselves ragged in spite of any personal pain or discomfort is reminiscent of being a mule or slave of sorts. Biles owes nothing to anyone, as she got to where she is off of her own talents and strengths; she has every right to remove herself on her own strength and accord as well.
Biles took to Twitter to share her appreciation for those who've been supportive of her journey throughout the 2021 Tokyo Olympics however short it may have been cut. And as if her fervor to remain champion carried on to her teammate Suni Lee brought home Gold in the Artistic Gymnastics Women's All Around in which she celebrated joyously with Biles back at their Tokyo suite.
the outpouring love & support I’ve received has made me realize I’m more than my accomplishments and gymnastics which I never truly believed before. 🤍
— Simone Biles (@Simone_Biles) July 29, 2021
Simone Biles greeting Suni Lee is yet another wholesome clip filling our heart today! “The queen has arrived!” Biles says!

Even after bowing out of the earlier competition and receiving criticism, Biles made a graceful comeback to earn the Bronze medal in the Women's Balance Beam event. Having the weight of an entire country on your shoulders is too much to bare let alone carry as Simone Biles has done successfully for so long. It's important to extend grace for surely there are battles she faces in and outside of competition. What are your thought on this matter? According to a 2012 Washington Post article about The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, the precursor to Insecure created by Rae, Diame is identified as her beau & boyfriend. Rumors of their engagement began in March 2019 when Rae was spotted with a diamond ring on her left hand.
However their engagement was never confirmed by Rae and when questioned on the daytime talk show, The View, regarding the matter Rae evaded answering by stating, “I’ve got a lot of rings on my finger. I wear jewelry, you know?”
Her former co-star's, Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis, spoke on the engagement more than Rae did herself. “We all found out in different ways because we’re all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways,” Jay Ellis told Entertainment Tonight. Yvonne Orji stated all the reactions to the news was the same, "‘You out here in these streets getting married, boo?!’ That was the reaction.”
Fans of the actor left commentary and their personal takes about the way in which Rae surprised the public with her secret marriage. Check the tweets out below.

LeBron has also been a supporter of the well known Boys and Girls Club of America, which provide voluntary after-school programs for young people, to whom he donated $2.5m in 2010.
After founding the Lebron James Family Foundation in 2018 the baller has yet to cease his efforts in helping the less fortunate within his community. ]]>It's safe to say Atlanta's brunch culture has local modern millennials in a chokehold. The popularity of the common brunch have grown to epic proportions as Atlanta locals make it their mission to attend them "religiously". This sparked a question in my mind regarding the paradox that seems to live between classic Sunday service and the modern revelry of Sunday brunch.
As alway this is a no judgement zone but I find it interesting whether or not those of devout faith have ever found themselves sitting at a table at brunch instead of sitting in the pews. I took to twitter and posed this intriguing question to our followers, but we'd love to get your vote on the matter so check out the tweet below. Whether that be physically at church, virtually streaming mass, even watching prerecorded services, or even self study or group study receiving His word should be the main attraction on the day he ordained for rest. God's word shouldn't feel like a forced chore so find the method that feels the authentic for you and your own personal connection to God.
Furthermore, post service brunch has been around for a long time. There's nothing wrong with sharing a meal with those closest to us. But like most things, brunch festivities are better in moderation. Sections and bottle service every Sunday after church may of may not be be overdoing. However, with God in mind, discretion is key to determining a proper balance between celebration of God and celebration of life.
What are your thoughts on this topic? Have you ever found yourself at brunch instead of service or have you found a balance between doing the "work" versus the play? Comment down below, we'd love to hear from you!

The variant, a SARS-CoV-2 mutation originally surfaced in India. The very first case was identified back in December 2020, soon after the strain spread swiftly and is now becoming the more dominant strain in both Great Britain and India according to Yale Medicine.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has called this version of the virus “the fastest and fittest.”. Yale Medicine expert epidemiologist, F. Perry Wilson, MD, has also stated “Delta will certainly accelerate the pandemic.”
Various governmental officials as well as the Yale Medicine website state that people who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are most at risk. However, the masses on social media would beg to differ that we are all at risk regardless of our vaccination status. Various individuals across the nation have been reporting cases of contracting Covid 19 even after receiving two doses of vaccine. Check out some of the Twitter commentary of people across the nation that have questions concerning the accuracy of the rhetoric used to promote vaccination.
Did the CDC muck this up or is it just me? I feel like Americans who got vaccinated didn’t understand they still can get COVID. And the CDC getting rid of the mask mandate for vaccinated folks gave a false sense of security.

Well, my wife, 3 kids (ages 2-8), and myself all got COVID. 😐

Wife and I were fully vaccinated.
We're on the mend, and we're so thankful for that, but it has been seriously rough.
We had relaxed our personal protocols because we felt safe. We weren't.
Stay vigilant.
I am covid positive & will not be calling the @nba finals. I am ok & was fully vaccinated. pic.twitter.com/BrJIDzCq0E

The vaccine doesn’t prevent you from getting COVID. It’s your best chance to prevent you from dying of COVID.

Please get vaccinated.
The vaccine doesn’t prevent spread of the virus.

Large % of new cases are doubled jabbed.
Therefore, why do we require proof of vaccination in order to live our normal lives?
It should be down to individual choice whether we consent to a medical procedure or not.
No coercion! https://t.co/ZQyfixHFJD
Can someone help me out. So if the vaccines are meant to prevent less severe symptoms. How the hell are those who are double jabbed ending up in hospital.

Tell ya what: I'll recommend the vaccine AFTER we have the ability to sue the manufacturers if something goes wrong.

I've heard too many stories of people having bad reactions, blood clots, heart attacks, etc. and being left with the bill.
Another looming and devastating issue includes the numerous individuals who have had adverse effects to receiving the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Instagrammer @queencitydom took to her social media feed and story highlights to share her tragic post vaccine experience. Previously diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Dominique underwent receiving the Pfizer vaccine in order to protect her mother after deciding to move back closer to family in Charlotte. Unbeknownst to Dominique, nothing would be the same after her vaccination. According to her recent post below the, she is faced with varying symptoms that are subjecting her to various degrees of pain.
According to Dominique, "Doctors have been pretty lost on what exactly is going on..running multiple tests, medical imaging and neurological exams coming back with no answers.." And she is not the only one who has been faced with a life altering reaction that doctors have yet to figure out how to prevent, combat, or cure.
In a time of so much speculation and misinformation it's essential that we the public citizens must not soley rely on media to provide us with information. We must research on our own best way we can as well as share our stories and experiences with the unknown to keep ourselves as individuals and our loved ones protected. Calamity is seemingly coming at us from all directions; both rom the new and previous Covid strains, as well as the increased negative reactions to vaccination. No one knows more than the creator, God, himself. In such a time of uncertainty and confusion remember the power of prayer and giving all of your worries and fears up to him.
We would love for our readers to leave a prayer down below for those who have been effected and the world at large, as well as what you think of everything that's going on around us today in lieu of Covid 19.
